Poor Footie

So here I am on a Friday morning, wondering what I'm going to do for the next four days. Poor Rob had his foot (I guess it was his ankle) surgery yesterday and he is basically immobile until Monday. He seems to be feeling okay, though he won't share his Vicodin with me, and he's extremely cranky (justifiably) about the prospect of four days with no shower.

Rob and I don't usually spend a *lot* of time together. It's going to be interesting to see how we pass the time cooped up together in the living room. I think I need to go buy him some new video games.

p.s. Oh, yeah, and I got the gig at Renegade! I'll be working on their production of "Skyscraper" this fall. Woohoo!

p.p.s. I finished Ruffles. It rocks.

Porn! Time to get out the porn! Nothing makes recovery time pass faster and more enjoyably than porn!

That is an excellent idea! I also bought him "Jeopardy" for the PS2. Maybe I'll even let him win. :)

Umm.. this may be a stupid question, but at what point do you think you might have TOO MANY scarves?

One can NEVER have too many scarves. Honestly, most of the scarves I've knitted were for presents. SPEAKING of which...

Oh, poor Rob. What was the surgery for?

Tres cute scarf. I finally figured out how I was accidentally increasing on each row, and now I have almost six inches done of whatever it is I'm knitting. :) (While I'm looking enviously at the adorable sweater Mum's making for Liam.)

The surgery was to repair the damage caused by three years' worth of playing basketball on a repeatedly and untreated sprained ankle. Or something.

I need your mom right now. I have a knitting problem. Also, I had a really weird dream about her last night. There had been an accident and you and I had to find her in the rubble. We wound up finding her buried in this box of pillows. She was fine, but bewildered.
