Sunday, Bloody Tech Sunday

It was actually not too bad. I've been through much, much worse Tech Sundays. This was pretty low-key. Still, there's a ton that needs to happen before we open. Some of the plays are really cool and good, and some of them haven't quite gelled yet, but I'm confident it will all come together as shows always magically do.

Yesterday I got a great big skein (440 yards) of beautiful, variegated deep blue Alchemy Promise mohair. It's scrumptious. I have no idea what I want to do with it. Any ideas?

Remember when we compared shows? I win, big time. Ow! Ow! The Mississippi Delta was NEVER so heinous!

Now I almost want to see that. :)

I remember the absolutely wonderful tech we had when Jennifer helped us all understand exactly what to do. That was really fun.

That was pretty crazy, but it doesn't top my very first tech Sunday ever, where Randy Carnefix screamed obscenities at me. And I was a volunteer.

Ever done a musical? THOSE are fun techs... they make most other techs seem like a dream!

And Katya, you should make booties with that mohair for keeping your tootsies warm and for sliding around on your awesome wood floor...

I'd need more than 440 yards to make a blankie, but booties are certainly a possibility! Then I could shake them, ha ha.

That's the way (uh-huh, uh-huh), I like it (uh-huh, uh-huh).
