Yes, 'tis Mabel
So yesterday we went up to the parentals' (well, it's actually Betsy and Joe's house now) for a visit.
We played pinochle, knitted, drank gins and tonics, helped Betsy paint the bedroom, played with Ethan, looked at patterns for baby sweaters, swang in the new swing, and soaked in the hot tub. We had a dandy time.
He's my nephew, so I get to bore you with cute things Ethan did. My favorite thing is that he hears "get off the table, Mabel" so often that he thinks that the table is actually *called* a "table Mabel". He is as smart as a snake!

They say such cute things. Today I patted Liam's hair, and he turned around and said, very offended, "Mommy, I'm not a toy!"
