Ouch! Can't say that I have, unless having braces as a teen and getting them tightened so that eating was impossible counts.
I'm new to your blog, so I don't know quite what's up, but I take it you have something going on with your eye(s)? Healing thoughts to you...

Oooh! Ouch! Winces of sympathy. I don't recall what exactly is wrong with your eye, but you have my heartfelt sympathies. I've had some wicked eye problems in the past myself. For me it was a viral infection that made them swell shut and my vision blur. And the top layer of eyelid skin dried up, turned purplish-gray, and flaked. And the entire whites turned blood red. Just in time for Halloween -- not kidding! The kids thought it was way cool, in an appalling sort of way. ;o) At least I got to work from home for several weeks while I was recovering so as not to frighten the co-workers to death.
Hope you are back on your feet soon!
(How do you wish someone a speedy eyeball recovery, anyway? "Here's blinking at you," "Wish you were winking" and "Keep a lid on it" are about as corny as I'll get. *snicker*)
If you're looking for (bad verb choice) an intriguing movie to while away the time, you might want to check out "What the Bleep Do We Know?" It's a blend of science, New-Age sounding theories that turn out to be about quantum physics, and humor. See their website at http://www.whatthebleep.com for a trailer and details. It's way more fun to view than you might guess from some of the descriptions -- and the Huey Lewis and the News animation at the Polish wedding is a stitch to watch.

Not repeatedly, but I know what it feels like to be hit in the back of the head with a metal bat. Not fun. I hope you feel better soon, sweets. Also? Take more vitamin V. Boobs.

Yes. Today. Very, painfully underslept. Ack.
Feel better, eyeball!

Keep an eye out for a special package!
Hope you feel better soon!

Poor Katie-kins! If it makes you feel any better I dislocated my shoulder yesterday morning in the parking lot at school. Dad had to come and pop it back in for me. I feel your pain man.

Wow! You must be on your death-bed if even Elizabeth posted on your blog. If it makes you both feel better I was home all afternoon throwing up. I blame Steve.

Well...I was once thrown out of a car and (among other things) fractured my skull, broke another bone behind my nose, and ruptured a blood vessel in my eye, so yeah, I'd say it compares.
