PORN IS COOL!
Got your attention, didn't I?
I'm talking about yarn porn, ladies and gentlemen Bob.
We had a really great day at work today. Chloe and Nathania and I were all in fine spirits. Here's Chloe modeling her fabulous scribble lace shawl:
And Nathania finished one of her Fourth of July socks. Astute viewers will also notice her Ribby Cardi, which she finished yesterday.
It was all fun and laughs until we heard the UPS truck pull up. Some of us dived for our lipstick, hoping that we'd be visited by Nick, the hot UPS guy. Alas, it was the slightly less hot (but still cute) guy, but he had SIX HUGE BOXES from KFI. And I mean HUGE.
We all went tearing into the back room. As soon as Nathania opened the first box, Chloe dove right in:

I was overcome.
And then I was giggling so much I couldn't hold still to capture the looks of bliss inspired by the SPARKLY NORO.
Again, I was overcome with bliss. Debbie Bliss.
Then Chloe started weeping, "It's just so beeeeee-auuuu-tiful!"
Later, Nathania (notice poor Tom, who was trying to ignore the estrogen-fest) reveled in the shipment all laid out in its glory:
And I tried to decide which color of pink Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Chunky I liked better:

ANYWAY, after we'd calmed down and returned to our regularly scheduled knitting, we met Kathryn, a really cool customer who is a blogger, but not a knit blogger. YET. We got her started with some needles and some yummy orange Cascade 220 and indoctrinated her into the cult encouraged her to embrace knitting.
It was a pretty great day. I still can't believe these people PAY me.

Nice boobs on Nathania in the next to last shot. In my next life (haha) I want to come back as a large box of really pink Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Chunky. It looks like that yarn is having a blast pressed tightly against your bosom.

Take away all the goodies I got and all the fun I've had spoiling and that post would have made SP worth it...all by it's little lonesome.

It was a delight! I truly felt as though I'd walked into someone's home, and as though I'd known you all for awhile. Quite the incentive to start learning to knit! :)

I am so freaking jealous right now I can hardly type because my keyboard is clogging up with drool! You had that much fun yesterday, I typed my butt off (truly wish that was possible) and didn't have one stinking ounce of fun doing it!
But I am currently enjoying your blog and reading it, and I did have an amazing piece of cake a few minutes ago with fresh flubeberries and strawberries and almonds, and well, that is making me happy, it would hav ebeen better had it had rum in it, but then that's another story.
So anyway it's no fair! I'll trade ya jobs.

Well you saw my work... There appears to be no comparison. I'm not sure I could really prosper at a yarn shop, but it does seem a lot more sensuous than the cube farm. Oh yeah, boobs.
