daily miscellanea
I didn't buy any of the new Claudia, because I can't think of anything fabulous to do with it. How can I get a small amount of fingering-weight yarn next to my face? There's a pink that is the perfect color for me.
I did, however, buy some old Claudia boucle, with a view to making it into a scarf for my mom. Chloe wound it into a turban.
Santa Kathryn left me an exceptionally sweet Christmas present! She is the greatest. :)
Finished the pink Demon Hat. I stuck it on my head after seaming it (thank you, Chloe, for showing me the three-needle bind-off), and everyone decided that it didn't need pompoms, it just needed its nipples tweaked.
I nearly broke my neck falling down some un-glow-taped stairs after rehearsal tonight. Fortunately, it was pitch black and nobody saw it. How ridiculous is it that a Stage Manager who is absolutely terrified of the dark does not own a flashlight?
It's self-portrait Tuesday. Here's me in a reflective surface, my rear-view mirror. I'm ready for the black circles to disappear from my eyes, thank you very much.
It's fucking freezing here at home. I think I will turn the heat on.
