pieces of your presence

Oh, my gosh, I'm tired. My feet and legs and neck and face and everything just ache. Last night, after a really great day at Fair, some of us cool kids had a Smaller Better party and went out and partied like freaking rock stars. I can't believe I danced. On a platform. In my Prada boots. Did I mention that my feet hurt?

It was an absolute BLAST, but I am so wrung out now. Today was a long, long, long day and I was a bit of a wreck. During my scene on the platform with Mrs. Lammle, she twitted me (as she always does) about Mr. Rokesmith, and I almost burst into tears. It was sort of freaky.

And then later when I got accidentally whacked on the head, I DID burst into tears. I was a sad, sad, panda. A restorative beverage was immediately administered, and I perked up a bit.

Postcards was, as always, a delight. We had a most amusing time singing Happy Birthday to Mr. Bob afterwards. And then Nathan took me off to a really cool gathering in the Adventurers' Club, where drinkies were had, toasts were made, and yummy snackies were consumed. It was exceptionally fun. Thanks, Nathan!

Need nap now.

You're welcome. It's always a treat to share something that's special to you with a friend that you just know will feel the same way.

I'm so glad. :) It really was my cup of tea (or, glass of champagne, as it were).
