smart as a snake
Ethan apparently had quite the pirate-themed birthday today. Alas, I was at my matinee so I couldn't attend the festivities, but a good time was had by all, so I hear.
Joe got Ethan a Raiders flag. (You know, it's got a pirate on it.) When it was unfurled, Ethan looked at it and said disgustedly, "Stupid Raiders."
He cracks me up.

Liam must have known somehow that it was Ethan's birthday this week, because he looked at me today and said, "Is Ethan three yet?" (Thus reminding me that I forgot to send a birthday present, rotten me.)

For some reason, I read "matinee" as "manatee", and I wondered if you had enrolled in some sort of Adopt a Manatee program. It was a brief wonder, but I wondered nonetheless.

And I usually call them "manatees" anyway. :)
