screw my yarn diet.
I know this sounds wacky, but I haven't bought any yarn in almost two months. But crap on a cracker, Stitches West starts tomorrow. I think this might be the reason for my emergence from the house. I haven't stepped foot outside since Saturday night.
Last year, it was a bit overwhelming. I was a new, insecure knitter, and I didn't know what I wanted or what I was capable of knitting. Now, watch out. Maybe I'll be able to get my mitts on some Malabrigo. Yum yum yum.
(I AM knitting, by the way. I'm making a hat, presumably for Abbie.)

I believe that Kate's just saying she hasn't bought any yarn in an unnaturally long time. I happen to know that she's made up for that, however.
