So sad
The problem with excellent strawberry daiquiris made from scratch is that you hoover them down and then you want more more more.

Was it a race? Did someone time you? :)
Those straws are awesome, by the way. Also, hows about a recipe? ( . )( . )

That sucks.

I mean that in the joke sense, you know; sucks as in sucking on a straw... Just wanted to be clear on that. You and your sister look as if you are having a grand time.

Recipe for three good sized tumblers of strawberry daiquiri:
Rinse, stem and halve one basket fresh strawberries plus about half a dozen from another basket and drop into blender jar. Add freshly squeezed juice of one lime and six ounces of light rum. Blend for a few seconds to combine the ingredients. Add a few cups of crushed ice and blend to thick frosty goodness, adding more ice if necessary to get the right consistency. Top with whipped cream. Drink with long straw in company of most wonderful girl on earth and her sister. (The last is a serving suggestion only, not required, but it sure worked for me last weekend.)
Another delightful variation that Kate and I added last night is a float of illegal Cuban rum added before the whipped cream. Ideally Havana Club Anejo.
Enjoy!
