For dinner tonight I'm making lamb shanks stewed in wine, onions and anchovy-stuffed olives.
THE HOUSE SMELLS SO GOOD. I think I need a sedative.

Can I come over for dinner? I LOVE lamb.
Fortunately, tonight a friend is in town and he suggested we eat at Saffron. It's in Santa Clara, only 3 miles from my home. It's Middle Eastern food so I'll get to have lamb! How sad is it that a friend from Austin is our impetus for going out somewhere new to eat?
We're kinda lame (not lamb) that way. ;)
(Too much coffee today, not enough sleep!)
