It's a shawl! It's a judge wig!
It is bigger. It is quite nice and warm on my coldy head. What it is NOT is effective earmuffs. The renovations on the apartment upstairs continue in full force, and they're apparently working on the floor today. SO LOUD. MY EARS!

it's a shawl! it's a hat!
It's a hat-shawl! I have the Himalayan death flu and am hopped up on theraflu, so forgive my giddiness. I should probably not knit lace while stoned, but I want to prove that the Shetland Triangle from Wrap Style is the easiest shawl in the world.
Must go blow nose now.

Luke, I am your father
Okay, I am so glad Faire season is over. I made some good friends, met a lot of nice people, put together a costume that I like and LOVE wearing, but I am done done done for the season.
This last weekend at Folsom was particularly trying. I eventually wound up having a good time, as I somehow became assigned to the post of child-wrangler, and all of the young ladies were delightful company. However, I was not able to completely shield myself from the annoying aura of a few "adults" who just couldn't manage to mind their own business.
Anyway, it's all done and I'm tired of thinking about the annoying people. I'm finally home with my honey and we're going to watch some bad TV and just chill. Aaaah.

blog slackerdom
Hi, I'm still alive. We're just about to leave the house for the final weekend of Casa. It's been tremendously fun, but I've had juuust about enough faire.
But isn't my new Michaelmas wreath festive?
And Nathan wore one, too. You gotta love a guy who's secure enough to wear flowers on his head. (And they're pretty fetching, I think.)
