10:00. Two bottles of Champers. (Okay, one was Cremant, but who's counting?) Slightly tipsy, still recovering from the Himalayan Death Flu. We are regrettably not at Cyn's gathering, but we are using her silver filigree cocktail picks in our French 75's.
p.s. The Berghof has been an underwear-free-zone since Thursday night.

oops, i forgot to blog
Okay, update: My family was in a really bad car accident - miraculously, nobody was seriously injured. Meanwhile, Nathan and I were sick as dogs. It was a low-key Christmas, but we were all together.
But gosh, isn't Zoe a beauty? (I do not say this merely because she looks EXACTLY LIKE ME as a baby.)

I wasn't kidding about that shawl
FINALLY someone took a picture of me that proves the existence of a completed shawl! Thanks, Richard!

more tired than a sack of snakes
Ugggh. I am so tired. My feet are about to fall off. Ow ow ow. We did three shows of Postcards today. So tired. Must go to bed. Must get up early in morning to make bloody marys and stuff and get ready for early morning Dark Garden window. So tired.
But look at the cute picture Janice took of me! And I'm knitting! Onstage!

warning: actual knitting content
If you look closely at this photo of me enjoying myself backstage at Dickens, you will see ACTUAL KNITTING CONTENT. Look hard. Right there. I knitted the lace adorning my Lizzie dress. Are you all impressed?

who knew?
It's really hard to knit with a nasty burn on your index finger. When I was finishing up my silk and alpaca gloves, it wasn't so bad. Now that I'm scrambling to finish up the #&^%@ stockings, it's much less pleasant. Lamb's Pride + burny finger = Ouch.
p.s. I have a head cold.
