cliche du jour
Before the last weekend of Faire last October, I was SO ready to be done for the season. I haven't missed it at all since then until I tagged along to a Minstrels rehearsal this Sunday. Aaah, it was nice.
I got a boatload of knitting done, hampered slightly by George the Cat, who loves to eat yarn. And who wouldn't want to eat Misti Alpaca, I ask you?

Too cute! You got a kitty? When? How could you leave out vital information like this? How long have you been holding out on us?

No, no, George belongs to our friends Stefanie and Martin. Geez, I'd totally tell you if I got a kitty, especially one as good as George.

What are you waiting for? Get over to the pet store. We added a new member to our family this past weekend.
Take a look at my new little buddy.

If I couldn't talk I'd like to have a collar tag with my name and phone number too.

Misti Alpaca sounds like the name of a Peruvian stripper.

I highly recommend finding a well-behaved, cutie cat to bring home. It's the best.
Now, if you get a misbehaved, craves-attention, thinks-she's-a-dog kind of cat... well, that's another story. (And I speak from experience.) :-P
(Actually, both my cats are cuties and sweeties. But one of them seriously thinks she's a dog, which has caused some problems.)
