why knitting is cool, reason #47
If you're stuck on a ride at Disneyland, it's great fun to whip out a sock. It sure seems to amuse the cast members, at least.
This is me stuck on Indiana Jones. We'd just gotten loaded in the car and were about to take off, when the ride went down for nearly 20 minutes. Sadly, there isn't a great picture of me knitting ON Space Mountain earlier, where the ride had gotten so stuck we were evacuated from it. It was so cool. I bet nobody's ever knit ON Space Mountain before.
