excuses
So I haven't blogged for a few days because we were up at Tahoe and there was no wireless in the cabin. Plus, I would have been too drunk to blog.
I didn't blog or knit yesterday because I discovered that I'd carelessly thrown my camera/Minstrels CDs/Nathan's tambourine/various shite into my basket on top of my knitting and one or more of those various items had snapped TWO of my sock needles in half. So I was too crabby to knit (or blog) yesterday. Also, the new Sims2 expansion set arrived yesterday and I sort of played it all day. Plus, I was busy doing the laundry and cleaning boots and stuff. Also, there was all that TV to watch.
Maybe I will knit today. I have already not gotten off to a good start.

I'm sad about your needles . . . especially since much of the shite was mine. Thanks for all of the wonderful you do around the house. You make my life beautiful beyond anything I've ever imagined.

I can't believe you're still playing the Sims! Old habits never die, I guess...
I was so disappointed that I just couldn't make that polygamous hippie commune work out in the original Sims. Everybody got *so* jealous. Speaking of polygamy, have you seen "Big Love" on HBO? Its creepy and gripping all at the same time.

I am so sorry about your needles. How infuriating! I haven't been knitting much for days. I have a million excuses too. Life's just gets all in the way sometimes!
