Yay, the laptop has returned from its watery grave! I am more excited than a sack full of monkeys. Of course, now I'm TOTALLY distracted by all the cool Internets and I am pointedly not working on the boatload of ironing and sewing that I have to do.
I'm making myself another shift. One linen shift does NOT last for a weekend at Casa. I'm using the same pattern as before, but I want the neck opening smaller. Trying to figure out exactly how to alter this pattern is giving me an headache.
Clearly I need more gin.
In other news, I'm almost to the end of a ball of yarn on the Stupid Purple Paisley Shawl From Hell, and I CAN'T find the last ball of Zephyr anywhere. It has to be in the house, but where?? I blame the aliens.

One shift is never enough for any fair. You need at least one change of linen for every day of fair.
