Vallejo-ho-ho
Okay, I know I should be either sleeping or studying lines or doing the dishes or knitting or something. Instead, I'm sitting here having an experimental Champagne (okay, Cava) cocktail and admiring our gigantic Christmas Tree. (No, really, it's huge. My head just makes it look small.)
So sue me. Tis the freakin' season.
p.s. Happy Birthday (okay, it's late posting, but STILL) to Margaret!
p.p.s. I (heart) you, Grace!

wake me on monday
This week I got the house mostly unpacked, drove to the Cow Palace three times, had a great birthday, ran around with a bunch of naked people, and shopped for the Thanksgiving Extravaganza.
I actually managed to knit today while standing in the long, long lines at the grocery store. It was quite soothing, actually.
I know you're all busy brining your turkeys and making cookies and cleaning the bathroom and dusting the fuck out of your house (oh, wait, that's me), but if you're not busy on Friday, you should totally come to The Great Dickens Christmas Fair. It's going to be wonderful. And please come see the Naughty French Postcards show. It's extra naughty this year. Come on, you know you want to.

chirp chirp
I have *absolutely* nothing interesting to say. The house is still a maze of boxes, I'm behind on my knitting, this weekend is dress rehearsal for Dickens and I haven't even looked at my lines yet, and I'm having horrible, horrible allergies.
*insert crickets here*

Beer - It's What's For Breakfast
Okay, so it's almost two, but this is essentially the first thing I've had all day. Why, you ask, am I sitting in a bar in Eureka instead of being at home unpacking? On second thought, don't ask.
