hearts and flowers
I've been trying vainly for a couple months to get a decent picture of Zoe and Ethan together. Either one of them blinks, or has a runny nose, or is gnawing on the cat, or is holding his hands up in a Sean Penn-like "no paparazzi" pose, or is scowling, or they start wrestling. It's annoying, because they are two of the most photogenic children on the face of the planet. Sigh.
I sure heart them, though.

The volume of cute per pixel in this photo is killing me... literally killing me. I would like that on my tombstone: SHE DIED OF ACUTE CUTE.
My brother has adorable blonde children now, too: Kyrie, Isaiah, Jayden.

Thankgodfully, my sister-in-law is a talented photographer. This sounds corny, but it really is a gift to have a good photog in the family. These kids grow like weeds and I love the way she captures these moments. She shares them with the rest of us, and later on the kids will have albums full of pictures of themselves, and they'll feel special and loved.
